Face your fears – Cum gestionăm perioadele stresante din viața de adult
În data de 14.10.2023 echipa AFIST a implementat cel de-al doilea eveniment din cadrul proiectului ‘’Face your fears !’’. Biblioteca Centrala a UNSTPB – partenerul nostru de sprijin pentru evenimente educaționale – a găzduit timp de 4 ore un schimb de idei și soluții cu însemnătate pentru sănătatea mintală a studenților. De la cum ne recunoaștem stările, la cum le gestionăm pentru a păstra un echilibru în viața noastră, participanții au avut deschiderea să împărtășească din experiențele și opiniile lor privind momentele provocatoare pe care le-au întâmpinat.

Face your fears - Opportunities and challenges in the STEM field
The ”Opportunities and challenges in the STEM field” event has represented the beginning of the “Face your fears!” project – a new AFIST programme aiming to meet the psychological and emotional needs of the STEM young generation. Due to our partner – “POLITEHNICA” University of Bucharest – the event took place in the Central Library of the academic institution, where enthusiast participants debated complex topics.
The ”Opportunities and challenges in the STEM field” event has represented a first step aiming to meet the cognitive – emotional needs of the young generation, a unique manner of showing support and encouraging the future experts.

Dose of Science, Engineering, and Tech is a program developed for young people, students, and not only, who want to invest in their professional careers. Through this program, we want to bring participants as close as possible to the reality of the field in which they want to work. This program is composed of events consisting of visits to different companies/institutes in several fields of activity.

I want to be an entrepreneur!
Saturday, 5 November, the event "I want to be an entrepreneur!" took place. in the series "Let's grow together!".
The event took place at the Library of the Polytechnic University of Bucharest and included presentations and free discussions about entrepreneurship, starting from the validation of the project idea to its financing.
